Tajik Technical University named after academician M.S.Osimi

As part of the initiatives of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the field of water and climate and the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", a declaration was adopted for 2025 as the "International Year for the Protection of Glaciers" and March 21 as "International Day of Glaciers » On May 20, a republican scientific-practical conference of teachers, students and graduate students was held on the topic “Reasonable use of water resources: education and ensuring water quality”, which was attended by representatives of relevant bodies and higher professional organizations and institutions of the country.

It should be noted that in order to create conditions for bilateral cooperation between enterprises and departments of the republic and the university, a republican scientific and practical conference was also held on the topic “Rational use of water resources: environmental culture and ensuring water quality”, to review and discuss the results of scientific and theoretical achievements of scientists in the field of protection and prevention of pollution of water sources, water treatment technology and raising awareness of water use.
