 The development of international cooperation – is one of the priorities of the Tajik Technical University named after academician M. Osimi. The purpose of the university – the intensification of scientific cooperation with foreign counterparts, strengthening of business relations of the University with foreign and international companies and organizations, expanding the range and volume of educational services, the intensification of the processes of students and teachers exchange. Since 1978, the university embarked on the development of international cooperation.

The University is a member of several international associations and federations: the Association of Technical Universities of the Commonwealth of Independent States; the Commonwealth Association of Construction University of  Independent States;

Association of Architectural University of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

Association of Technical University in Central Asia, the Urals and Siberia; Association of Engineering Universities of the Islamic countries, the International Association of automobile and road education.

Our university has long-term international educational and scientific ties with more than 135 foreign partners from 24 countries. The University is actively involved in international projects and grants (Erasmus +, TEMPUS, DAAD, IREX, TechWomen, etc.).

 

The Department of International Relations is a structural subdivision of TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi, which carries out organizational and coordinating activities of the University in the field of international relations aimed at integration into the world educational system and strengthening the authority of the TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi in the international arena.

The Department of International Relations implements international contacts with many higher educational institutions and one of the important functions of the department is establishing contacts with international organizations and universities to train highly qualified personnel and attract leading foreign educational and scientific centers for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

In TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi are being studied students from 13 countries: Russia, China, Korea, Germany, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi conducts dynamic international activity and has bilateral cooperation with higher educational institutions and international associations of foreign states. Moreover, participates in many international investment programs.

Key activities:

1. Establishment and development of effective mutually beneficial partnerships with leading educational and scientific institutions of the world, preparation of bilateral and multilateral cooperation programs in the field of science and education:

Facilitate the participation of TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi in international educational programs;

Facilitate the participation of faculty and students in academic mobility programs;

Assistance to Staff development abroad;

Facilitate cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, medical institutions, and organizations in the field of scientific research;

Implementation of international activities, the conclusion of agreements and agreements with higher education institutions, international organizations, and foreign partners;

Assistance in obtaining international educational and scientific grants;

2. Involvement of foreign citizens in the educational process, preparation, and internship at the TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi;

3. Visa support for foreign citizens studying at TTU named after academician M.S. Osimi, visa support of the guests of the university.
