
The Power Engineering faculty of Tajik Technical university named after M. S. Osimi was founded in September 1956.
Since the foundation of the Faculty of Power Engineering, thousands of highly qualified specialists have been trained to date, who are currently actively working in various sectors of the national economy of the country and beyond.

The faculty trains PhD students in the specialties 6D 071700 – thermal energy and 6D 071800 – electrical energy.
The Faculty of Energy employs highly qualified professors and teachers, including 3 Doctors of Sciences and 55 candidates of Sciences, who carry out scientific and pedagogical activities. In total, the faculty's teaching staff and staff comprise more than 80 people.
