The history of the faculty dates back to the early years of the establishment of the Tajik Polytechnic Institute. In 1956, simultaneously with the founding of the institute, the training of engineers in specialty 1609 — Automobile Transport began within the Faculty of Construction.

In order to significantly improve the training process for specialists in the field of automobile transport, the Faculty of Automobile and Road Construction was established on October 13, 1975. This initiative created favorable conditions for the further development of the transport sector and the preparation of qualified professionals.

The achievements and outstanding activities of its staff are a source of pride for both the university and the faculty.

Currently, the faculty includes 4 specialized departments:

  1. Department of Road Construction, Structures and Transport Communications;
  2. Department of Automobile Transport Operation;
  3. Department of Technical Operation of Air and Railway Transport;
  4. Department of Machine Components and Road Construction Machinery.
