The Faculty of Innovative Technologies trains mechanical engineers, environmental engineers, metallurgists and chemical technologists for various branches of the economy. Specialists can work at industrial enterprises of the country, ministries and committees, technical colleges and lyceums in the following areas: aluminum production, coal processing, gold, antimony, oil and gas, textile, brick and cement production, printing and ecology.

More than 1661 students study at this faculty, 1362 of them study at full-time department and 299 students study at the distance-learning department. 1111 full-time students study in Tajik groups and 251 students are in Russian groups.

The faculty has a rich scientific and technical potential, which employs more than 20 scientific research laboratories.
