(FET BNTU-TTU)
Engineering and Technical Faculty of the Belarusian National Technical University – Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi (hereinafter JFET BNTU-TTU) was established in 2011.
On the basis of instructions from the Presidents of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Tajikistan, by the decision of the Academic Council of BNTU and the decision of the Academic Council of TTU (as founders), with the agreement of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, the documents "Agreement on the Establishment of JFET BNTU-TTU named after Academician M.S. Osimi dated 28.10.2011", "Cooperation Agreement between BNTU-TTU dated 28.10.2011" were signed, and an agreement between the two universities BNTU and TTU named after Academician M.S. Osimi was signed on 03.02.2012.
At the faculty, instruction is conducted in the Russian language. The educational process is carried out according to the traditional education system.
On the basis of the Engineering and Technical Faculty of BNTU-TTU, the Center for Education, Science and Culture of the Republic of Belarus operates.
Currently, the faculty structure includes 1 university-wide department:
1. Department of Languages;
At the faculty, specialists are trained at the bachelor's level in the following specializations:
1-26 02 – Business Administration,
1-36 01 – Mechanical Engineering,
1-38 02 – Biotechnical and Medical Apparatus and Systems,
1-40 01 – Mathematical and Software Tools,
1-43 01 – Power Engineering,
1-69 01 – Architecture,
1-70 02 – Construction,
1-70 03 – Transport and Roads.
The initial stage of education (1-2 years) is conducted at TTU named after Academician M.S. Osimi, and the second stage (3-6 years) is conducted at the university in Minsk.
The Joint Engineering and Technical Faculty actively participates in the political and social life of the university and the Republic, making its contribution.
The Joint Engineering and Technical Faculty has highly qualified professors and teachers, with 2 Doctor of Science and 33 Candidates of Sciences conducting scientific and pedagogical activities.
