Khasanov Nural Mammadovich - Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the department

The department "Underground Structures, Foundations and Foundations" has its origin since 1973, before which it was called "Engineering Geodesy and Soil Mechanics" department. The chair was headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Honored Worker of Science and Technology Takhirov Inom Safurovich. The department under this name continued its activities until 1984.

In March 1984 as a result of the improvement of the structure of the faculty was formed department "Concrete structures of the foundations and foundations. The department was headed firstly till 1987 by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Iskhakov Y.Sh., then till 1984 by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Usmanov A.U., till 1994 by candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Usmanov R.A. Since December, 1994, by result of the declared competition for heading the department, the candidacy of candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Ruziev A.R. has been approved.

In 2021 the department was renamed and to this day is called the department of "Foundations, foundations and underground structures". The department specializes in the specialty 1-700201-06- Underground construction and mines. The department is headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Khasanov N.M.

         Department "Foundations, fundamentals and underground structures" (O, FiPS) is one of the leading departments of the faculty "Construction and Architecture" Tajik Technical University, which in accordance with the State educational standards of higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan is training mining engineers - builders on specialty 1-700201-06 "Mine and underground construction". Department "O,FiPS" provides the educational process at the faculties "Construction and architecture", "Management and communications on transport" as well as Engineering-technical faculty of BNT-TTU at the full-time and part-time departments.

The department has the following special rooms and laboratories: room "Engineering geology"; room "Design of underground structures, foundations and foundations"; training laboratory "Soil science and mechanics of soils".

The department has a highly qualified scientific and pedagogical potential. As a part of its scientific activity the department participates in the development of research topic "Investigation of effective methods of preparation of the foundations and arrangement of foundations on loess subsidence and weak water-saturated soils, and also territories with a complex relief (adyrs) taking into account high seismicity of the region. The results of the department research works are regularly presented at international, regional and republican congresses, symposiums, conferences and seminars; they are published in periodicals, used in the development and preparation of normative- technical documentation, in the educational process, manuals and methodical works. In addition, the team of the department deals with practical issues of design of foundations and bases of buildings and structures in the systems of the State Committee for Construction and Architecture, Ministry of Transport Construction, Ministry of Emergency Situations and other organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Great attention at the department is paid to the organization of students passing training and production practices. So, students of a specialty 1-700201-06 - "Mine and underground construction" passed and pass practice at such large objects of the country as road tunnels through the Anzob pass - "Istiklol", "Shakhriston", "Shar-Shar", "Khatlon" and also in the Nurek, Rogun, Sangtuda hydroelectric power stations and Danghara hydraulic tunnels.

For a long and fruitful work in the education system department associate professors Khasanov N.M., Suleimanova M.A. and senior lecturer Boev B.U. awarded the honorary title of "Excellent Education of the Republic of Tajikistan. During its activity department has prepared and sent to the national economy a large number of mining civil engineers, who work in various fields. In general, the team of the department - a cohesive, conscientious and dedicated team of scientists and educators, who their rich experience and knowledge wholeheartedly devote to the cause of training specialists for the national economy of our country.    

Within 3 years, associate professor N.M. Khasanov and assistant professor A.O. Yakubov defended their doctoral and candidate theses. At the present time the chair is headed by Dr. N.M. Khasanov.

There are 7 teachers in the department: 1 PhD, associate professor; 2 PhD, acting associate professor; 2 senior lecturers and 2 assistants.
